When I reinsert the p2 cards after copying them through the card slot into my powerbook, the files become inaccesable, even though the cards still read as full because I've not reformatted yet.
I've been downloading the native files to powerbook through the card slot smoothly, but can't view them yet...in order to get an educator discount on FCP, I had to order from apple online, and it's not arriving until wednesday. Until then, I can't view them on the computer.
ps...i just checked the bitmap images from the copied ICON file on my hard drive...the pictures, which should be showing up as thumbs on my camera screen, are intact there.
I've been renaming each content file as I copy them, so that I can see at a glance which card download is for what shoot. Could this be the problem?
