I just got home from my first test shoot with my camera and I can't believe how wonderful the footage looks. I'm so happy I chose the Panasonic over the canon HD camera... I begin work on a documentary this week and a lot of it will be shot in the subways of NYC and need a recommendation on a good on camera light...if anyone has any recommendations, I'm listening....Thanks!
I just uploaded the footage....

I was just kinda walking around with my camera meeting people/taping them and trying to familiarize myself with the hvx200...today was the first day that I started using it. It wasn't as intimidating as I thought it would be...but I have SOOOOOOOOO much to learn and am so damn happy that dvxuser exists. Since I was 20 i was using the canon gl-1 and it's wild having this camera in my hands now... Anyway, if you watch the footage, listen to the sound the guy makes at the end of the video clip...it makes me smile.
