On-Camera LED Recommendation

I am looking to purchase an on-camera light for run and gun interviews. I would like the light to be powered by AA batteries so I'm not stuck if the proprietary power supply fails. I purchased Bescor LED light a few years ago and I am dissatisfied with the quality. The light will be mounted to a Panasonic HPX170.

You can get a 160 LED light for about $30 on ebay or amazon. Some might have a greenish color cast, so just be sure to read some reviews.

You have a couple of choices, both very good. One can accommodate AA batteries, and has excellent light profile with CRI over 95:

Amaran AL-H160

The other is F&V lighting, with good quality spectrum:

with a variety of power solutions - even without the AA battery option, I personally don't see 'proprietary', because it's standard Sony camcorder batteries, you can buy a bunch and they're much more convenient than AA batteries.
