OMG WTF is this?

I was shooting a debutante presentation last night and am just now transcoding my clips. This B camera is exhibiting this blocking problem. This camera was unmanned,
set at 720p24, auto iris, and auto AF, +6db. I really don't know WTF is going on, this was a spot light, and it is not present on my other HMC150, same settings.
it is present on EVERY scene when the new girls show up. I hope I can edit around this.

watch the original clip on your computer or in the camera, if it is fine there it is just a transcoding error

On every clip where the new girl turns up?

How many frames does this problem occur for? Is it only one or is it more?

ok, I was watching that clip in the log and transfer window in FCP. I played the fully transcoded clip back through my blackmagic card and thankfully, the video is clean. whew, I was freaking out. incidentally, this is the first camera I absolutely trust on auto iris and AF. It did superbly as
an unmanned tight cutaway camera.

Same thing happened to me before. It was on my first paid shoot with this camera and I noticed it when I went in to transcode the footage. Luckily it transcodes fine and I haven't seen it happen since.

I think some people call that "Artifacting"... it happens often actually.

I heard it happens if you're computer processor is not fast enough.
