Well I took your advice from another thread and went with a 52 and step upDid you get the 43mm or the 52mm (w/step up ring) version of the Raynox?
I have a slighly older version of this lens (there are about 100 different variations) with a 58mm thread. I original used this for a digital EVF still camera, and it was surprisingly good. I had not used this in several years, but having found it recently, I have a step-up adapter on the way from B&H. Certainly worth the incremental $9.00 to check out. I have a 37mm Sony conversion lens, but that's going to wind up on eBay with the HVR-A1...Well I took your advice from another thread and went with a 52 and step up
DVXusers got me too. I ordered a hmc40 and before my camera even showed up i was so excited i ordered a redrock shoulder mount, rode ntg2 mic, 35mm adapter, camera mount lcd, tripod, and a whole pelican case full of used nikon lenses. Im in the garage building a dolly on rollerblade wheels right now!
