GH2 Olympus 14-35mm F/2 on a GH2?

Anyone using this combination? I had this lens with an AF-100, and at F/2 the zoom worked without an iris fluctuation, but at anything above F/2 the iris would flicker when zooming (most notably between 14 and 15mm).

Now I've heard this is the opposite with the GH2 and this lens - meaning it *does* flicker @ F/2, but not @ F/2.2 or higher. Can anyone confirm this? I would like to buy this lens again if I can get F/2.8, F/3.5, F/4 etc. if I can zoom in and out without the iris shift/flicker glitch.

Thanks!
Shawn

Yes, the iris on the Olympus 14-35mm f2 lens will flicker when it's zoomed, regardless of the camera it's mounted on. When the lens focal length changes, the iris dynamically readjusts to maintain the simulation of a constant f-stop setting. All Lumix and Zuiko Digital electronic zoom lenses work this way, though the iris steps are more noticeable on some lenses than on others.

Not true actually; I mounted it on my wife's GF2 and it didn't flicker in manual video mode at all at any F-stop.

Here's a test I did 2 years ago with the 35-100 on a GH1. I don't see any flicker. Maybe others can.
