Olympus 14-35mm autofocus speed on GH2, Micro Four Thirds, etc?

Can any users of the Olympus 14-35mm (+ adapter) on the GH2 comment on the autofocus ability and speed of this lens? Thanks.

And manual-focus / zoom wise, is it quiet? I find the 14-140mm quiet overall but if I put a little elbow grease into turning the focus or zoom the mechanical sound sometimes makes it into the ambient room microphones.

It will autofocus (single) and is pretty slow - average 2-3 seconds maybe so compared to the 14-140 it's glacial.

Manual focus is quiet with a slight stop click at both ends - maybe just slightly louder than the 14-140. If you torque the zoom you'll get some noise at both ends, but not as loud as the 14-140. And there's an audible click when zooming from 14 to 35 at around 18 and also at 25. But 35 back to 14 is quiet until you hit 14 where there's another click. I've never had a problem with this getting recorded, but never use the onboard mic for anything other than reference sound and if using external ambient mics that would, of course, depend upon where they're placed.

The 14-35 is certainly much quieter than the 35-100 in all respects.

Hope that helps.
