Okay, so its in stock at B&h and Amazon. When somebody buys it and puts it on a GH2, I'd love to know what the AF speed is like in the various modes. Thanks!

Olympus have apparently really improved the auto focus on the latest pen cameras. The new 12mm lens is designed to handle the faster focusing speeds but I doubt you will see those gains on the Panasonics.

The auto focus updates on the PENs makes them sound pretty attactive, but obviously I'm more interested in the 12mm lens's perfomance on the GH2. I know that since the GH2 does not do the special infrared processing that the PENs do (or whatever it is), it probably won't match the AF performance of the PENs with the lens, but I really want to know how continuous AF on the GH2 interacts with the lens.

Why don't you buy one and give it a try? You can always send it back.

that video isn't very inspiring for either the lens or the af100, too bad, hopefully better videos surface.

agree with @peripatew i'm very interested in the manual functions, wouldn't do much AF work with the lens.

From that video, the AF actually looks really good! Granted, it's an AF-100, but performance should be very similar on a GH2. Awesome!
