But you have to admit, when you see an athlete showboat near the end of an event because he's sure he has it locked up, you'd get a wry kick out of someone coming from behind and beating him just as he's celebrating. It has, of course, happened numerous times before.

The news about Nadal is awesome! He must be thrilled.
 
Did you see Bolt in the 200m semi? He's toying with these guys. He's clearly jogging while the rest of the pack are killing themselves.

Unless he gets hurt it won't even be close.

Hahaha, yeah, thought that get a good rise out some guys on here.

The guy is a freak of nature. It is truly something else when athletes like him come around every so often, guys were talent is just something that comes natural to them (Gretzky, Woods, Jordan, Crosby, Montana, Rice, Moss, Brady) likes of those guys.

Hear hear! I have seen some exceptionally beautiful women (and some darn handsome guys) in these games.

The Russian in the pole vault tonight was just STUNNING. Wants to come to hollywood and do some filming. Sounds like an opportunity for some of you independent guys shooting something where you can use someone with an authentic Russian accent.
 
One has to wonder why NBC chooses to use the theme to The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr., in their Olympics ads.

Have you guys noticed that the super slow motion shots look completely washed out with terrible colour and limited sharpness? Those are done with the Thompson's, right? I believe they tried those in the first couple of games at the UEFA Euro 2008, but abandoned those shots right after the preliminary phase (group stage)
