ok what about the shutter speed

ok guys I have been searching for a while and I cant find what I am looking for
I have a dvx100b and I am going to be shooting a full feature in 24PA that is going to dvd now I play with the settings a little but what about the shutter speed and the syncro scan

my camera is set at 24PA and this is my other settings, is this right?

syncro scan: 1/30.0

shutter speed= off

is this the right setting for normal movie recording? any imput is welcomed

Unless I've been wrong all this time, if the Shutter is Off, the synchro scan settings means nothing. Off will give you 1/48th (the normal 24 fps shutter speed).
