First let me say that all of you guys are simply amazing. I mean, if anyone ever need proof that filmmaking is changing for the better, this is the site that will do the trick. And instead of filmmaking, I think it should now be "videomaking." Not to downplay DV or HDV, but it is a medium so much different than film, that it needs a pedestal all of its own. (It might even be a better one at that.)
Anyway, my question for all of you guys, after searching through all of the postings...Which 35mm adapter is the best one?
So far, it seems like either the Letus35A or the M2 are at the lead and the M2 seems to be doing better simply because of the small light loss compared with the Letus35, but the Letus seems cheaper.
Anyway, I know this has been asked thousands of times so maybe I just felt like posting something...so what...no big woop. But if anyone wants to say something, please do. You'll be a better person for it. My guarantee.

Nice. I have built the Ed35, but am looking to buy a moving GG adapter. Can't wait to see how this goes.

There's a storm a comin'

this is a pretty tough poll to vote for unless you've tried all those adapters...

You ask for the best under $1000 adapter but list the P+S Technik Mini35. It's way more than a $1000. Just throwing it into the pot for a comparison?

I am very pleased with my M2. I't trying to do something with it besides tests, but I'm kind of in a new boat lately, more AC'ing in big productions than actually working on my own. Too bad. Thing is, the M2 with my DVX holds up incredibly on SD television. I watched it in many great TV sets and production monitors, it rocks! In most TVs you can see no image degradation at all. Pretty amazing. I never used any other, but I'm very satisfied with mine.

Cheers!

One problem with putting the P+S one is that it's way more expensive than the others (haven't heard of them all). So less people will have tried them.
