I shot my short in 24p mode, as I only had Final Cut Express and I am about 98 percent done. I just got Final Cut Pro and I wanted to know am i ok to import the project into final cut pro now? I wanted to use the Magic Bullet software and also cinema tools for cleaning the audio. so is it safe? will the 24 work and will it do the pull down thing?

im not a MAC user, but im 99% sure your fine, since regular "24P" mode captures in at 29.97 ntsc, all you need to do is import it to a 24P timeline and the NLE should do the rest. However, its better to shoot in 24PA now if your going to be using a 24P timeline. Hope that helps.

Just open the project in Final Cut Pro, and start working. Easy as that.

Theres your answer but as the footage is 24p and not 24pa you are best to efit in a 29.97 progressive timeline.
