Hope this hasn't been posted.

The band OK Go, their usual single take, now on a Steadicam! Oooo!!!
New version of the marching band song.
It's a toppling domino/chain reaction/Rube Goldberg machine, very cool!

And a great NYTimes Op-Ed piece from the band on their label, EMI, banning embeds of their Youtube videos (videos they make themselves) because the label won't get the $.008 per stream they worked out with Youtube if the video is embedded (on a blog, etc) which is actually what helps their videos go viral.

They already had one video to that song (marching band). That was crazy! I loved the mousetrap/flags. Way cool!

The marching band was a fun video but this one was really impressive.

I only noticed one cut, when the camera flew through the blue curtain.

That vid is AWESOME... it's a pretty safe gamble for promoting a song I'd never buy, but I'm sure they'll get a lot of exposure this way. Very smart.

I never would have known this band/song without this.

Matt, if that's the first of their videos you've seen, you're missing out. You must immediately google "A million ways".

Alright fine... I'm shaving the top of my head, getting glasses, and a vest... consider me a fan, and by that I do not mean an air moving device... although I've been known to do that also.

Meh. Nothing compared to their treadmills video, which was bang-on original and truly groundbreaking -- no-budget to boot. And, they actually DID what it looked like they were doing.

This? Too slick, too derivative, waaaaay too many cheats. Like the second Numa Numa video, or the follow-up to Chocolate Rain.

While not as original as the treadmill video, if you think about it, they (and the marching band and A Million Ways) all share the concept of choreography.

But with this vid, the Rube Goldberg Machine is choreographed, along with their reaction to it.

True, it's HD and slick, not "home made" and grainy, but it's still lots of fun, which is, of course, what they're all about.
