Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anybody else has experienced some weirdness when their Optical Image Stabilisation is enabled.
On a couple of occasions it has jumped around like a crazy thing, accompanied by some strange knocking noises from inside the camera. It sounds as if it's trying to move very quickly past it's range of movement and is hitting something, hard enough to make a knocking noise.
It wouldn't concern me too much, but you can see it in the shots too, the picture jumps rapidly in time with the knocking and it makes the shot unusable.
I have had Canon camera's before with OIS and never experienced this.
I would have taken it back already, but I'm not sure if it's a recognised and accepted fault of the Panasonic OIS hardware.
Any help would be muchly appreciated. . .
Thanks in advance!
