I honestly did the search for a couple of hours both here and elsewhere last night and could not find any info so thats why I am posting.
I need a jib. one that will fit into my portabrace tripod bag with my sticks. I don't want a Kessler or anything that size and if I did I would buy John's Advantajib jr.
I need a small jib arm that I can travel with that will allow me to pull off small simple "crane up " moves when shooting locations. we allknow the shot coming over a foreground piece and up to a wide establishing shot.
I am on the road all the time, in planes and would like to be able to get shots like this. I can always borrow weights from a local or from the hotel I am staying at so that is not an issue.
In my search I found a four foot portable arm from Glideshot Indutries. It lists for $199.00 on the web but it is also for sale on ebay for $120.00 or at least I think they are the same one.
The question is: Has anyone here used one and if so can they advise me pro or con in buying one or is there an alternative that matches in size and weight.
Thanks
Brian
