Offloading P2 to PC: PCMCIA - PCI adapter to frontside of PC?

Is the "Hama PCMCIA Cardbus PCI" a good P2 PC adapter, as fast as the others?
What do you recommend?

Is there a way to connect this PCI card externally to PC PCI bus, so you dont have to crawl to the back of the computer to offload P2 all the time?

A PCI to PCI connector with cable adpater to the outside?

If you have a mac pro, what can you get then? The p2 reader was unsupported, but known to work with Mac OS X10.4 with 32-bit PCI expansion... but if you got 64-bit (PCIe) expansion slot? any tip?? Any usb device.

Sorry I didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Interelektronix, I think this is his user name, wanted to develop a PCMCIA - USB2 device.
I dont know how far he got, but someone should develop this.
Lots of people are looking for this. It would be very useful.

This may be a more cost effective solution to Panas rather expensive, Firewire/USB 5 port P2 card reader.

a PCIexpress card connected to PCI expansion case then install the SIGG PCI - PCMCIA card readers (5 OF) -http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/492803-REG/SIIG_JJ_PC1M12_S1_PCI_to_PC_Card_M.html
would have to be a cheaper alternative, just somewhat larger. would be half the cost to set up Panas equivelent reader.
just my five cents worth, HEY why dosen't someone try it ?? and put the rest of us G5 PCIexpress users out of our misery.
I have the SIGG card working great in my Older G4 Dual 1.25..
