offloading P2 content

I shoot on the HPX-500 and currently use a Sony Vaio laptop...Vista... (with a PCMCIA-Type II slot) to offload my content to my client's portable disc drives. I'm interested in getting a new computer, but I can't find one with the Type II slot. I've heard people have troubles with adaptors (i.e., dual Adaptor) and would like to know if there are other options out there. The Panasonic drives/readers are only Windows XP or Mac OX compatible. Any advice? Does anyone know if anyone is making a laptop that can handle the P2 cards? Thanks!

I use a toshiba satellite with an express card to cardbus adapter. Works fine. For some reason however if I off say two 16gb cards and then try a 64gb card it wont read - I need to restart . Minor quibble.
