Offload to Sound Devices 722

I was wondering if anybody has offloaded their footage to a 722 in firewire mode. Seems like a nice added feature that should work...

I don't know if you could without reformatting it like a hard drive so the HVX could controll it. And if you did that I don't think you 722 would ever work again it would just be a exspensive firewire hard drive.. So I wouldn't do it.
