Well, negative not always, but somewhat depressing. I just picked up a VG10 to learn with and would like to exchange w/other users regularly. Anyone up for a fresh start?

Absolutely. I've been shooting commercial work with the VG-10 for the past 7 months, and have a bunch of very happy clients with it's output. It has it's shortfalls, certainly, but its an excellent camera

I agree. I'm also new to the camera and find that the negatives coming from those who don't own the camera far outweigh any positive remarks from those who actually use the camera. Although I do appreciate reviews of any piece of equipment, both negative and positive, it gets old pretty quickly when it takes over a thread. I look forward to a NEX sub-forum so that I don't have to that I don't have to go thru page after page of repetitive stuff to pick out what I really want to see.
