Office Platoon

niiiiiiiice.

How did you light?

And what a great location. Were these all actual workers or did bluecat shell out some nice loot for extras?

They are all actors...all worked for free for the experience. Shot mostly on Steadicam between 9-5 on a Saturday when the office was closed.

Maxpower76,

That was cool, though it could be much better at a 1/3 less length. That might bring audio issues.

Also, just as an aside, when the fellow is giving CPR to his coworker, it looks like he was actually compressing him. This is extremely dangerous for the recipient if they have a heartbeat and should never be done.

That is the primary reason you do not see the actual act of CPR being administered (watch closely how they cover this in edits next time you see it on film) anytime in TV or movies.

Love the slomo.

Nice work.. when you can get a gig... make something funny and pro.. have a good time and get paid. That's HEAVEN. Nice work bro. Reminds me of a spoof video I did for Citrix software. Got paid to make fun of them... was a good time!

Thanks for showing

Ya, I'm aware of the CPR issues, We talked about it in Pre-Prod and I had a couple qualified CPR people around. We made sure he was not actually compressing him...looks real enough though.

I made it that length b/c Bluecat will never be a TV spot only internet, and you can get away with the long stuff online. But thanks for your positive criticism. Glad you enjoyed!

It was recorded in slow motion...didn't you see the Kleenex box flying and the guy falling off the cabinet??

Sorry, I was cutting back an forth between work and the footage. I watched it again and picked up on those things. My mistake. Though the guys running style made it seem that he was intentionally running slower.
