Off to Russia tomorrow to continue filming our doc "Politics, Sex and Vodka". My goal as the Director and DP is to make a show that is entertaining and informative. The show is primarily about the birth and growth of the new sexual culture and freedoms in Russia after the fall of communisim in 1989, and this being the 20th anniversary year, how the current government deals with these changes.

Who knows what the end result will be. All I know is that an old Russian man told me that the three things Russians are most passionate about are "Politics, Sex and Vodka". I am going to try and post daily about our travels and what we find.

The bags are packed, including the ZaZa slider! Wish us some luck... we may need it to stay out of jail.
 
I'm in post on a somewhat similar project (sort of) titled "Hookers & Blow: The First Class Sex Trade of the Third World". Make sure to let us know when your feature goes on sale.
 
Don't know how much things have changed in the last few years, but when I went to Moscow, I left thinking the best way to make money in Russia is to own a stamp company. Everything in sight seems to need to be stamped by at least three different stamps, on multiple occasions!
