Hey guys,
Just finished up another music video for a local hardcore band here in Melbourne, Australia. You can see the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_z_ZaHHXBM
OR if you hate youtube: www.nyvproductions.com/shst_web_export2.mov
Any comments about how the video was made are welcomed... I understand not everyone likes this kind of music, so if anyone does decide to reply, please try and focus on the vision and not the song.
It was a no-budget video... I used a DIY dolly for the shoot, which I wasn't too happy with during the shoot, but it ended up providing what I needed in the end. I was hoping to have used my new m2e adapter, but due to red rock not shipping all the needed parts I ordered.. I had to shoot stock HVX (which probably ended up for the best in the end). We shot in almost gale force winds.. nearly getting blown over while shooting! If I had the lens adapter on as well I don't think the video would have turned out as well (too hard to control in those conditions etc).
Any comments on how I could have made the video better please let me know so I can possibly try it out on my next video shoot!
