Odyssey7Q - (Bug) Pixel Zoom function (anyone else have this issue?)

I get that every once in a while, I have to reboot the monitor and its goes away, its annoying.

Ditto. Happened a couple times. Power cycle and all is good again. Hopefully there is a fix in Monday's firmware!

EDIT:
In the list of changes in the new firmware, there are these two entries:

FIXED Image scaling in psf and interlaced signals that showed jagged lines in PIXEL ZOOM.
FIXED Occasional file corruption when using PIXEL ZOOM while recording Apple ProRes 422(HQ)

Hopefully they inter-relate !

Actually, I have updated my 7Q and it seems that this problem has become even worse for me. I was on a shoot for 3 days this week and it happened about 70% of time. Even rebooting didn't solve the issue most of the time.

Can Confirm, I updated mine and had the same problem on a shoot that day. Hopefully this doesn't lead to corruption in the recorded image but I've not reviewed my footage yet.

I'm bummed the latest firmware does not fix this. This is majorly annoying and scares directors badly. Convergent, please release a patch.

Aren't there also issues with the playback still and the monitor LUTs? So what got fixed in the latest firmware?

Always had this issue as well. Was one of the first things I tested after the new firmware and it was still there.

I did some firmware tests this morning with the latest firmware and the first thing that popped up was the the zoom / stretch bug :(

Please fix this as it freaks out directors like no tomorrow.

I also noticed some major purples aliasing with in-camera Rec 709 profile. I'll post pics in a little bit. This is not a huge deal for me as I would never use Rec 709 because of how terrible it looks even using AVCHD, but it was suppose to be a bit better with this firmware.

So I'm sitting here torture testing the 7Q new firmware today and I found a sorta solution for the pixel zoom stretch bug.

1) I notice it happens way more in 4K2HD. I haven't had it happen in 2K or 4K RAW yet with new firmware.

2) If I get the stretch bug; instead of power down the 7Q and restarting, I hit the play back button to review clips (but don't review), then quickly go back to the standard record screen it seems to fix the stretch bug for a while. It's not a perfect fix of course, but it's quicker than power cycling the whole 7Q.

I do feel the 7Q is snappier with the new firmware, but yeah... lot's of little glitches especially with playback.
