Just tried the new software on the Odyssey 7Q+ and was happy to see dual settable zebras and so far at least it seems I can get it to pretty much match my Flanders 17" by lowering the B&G gain to 96% and raising the Sat to 103. (Hmm maybe I could just raise the Red & leave the sat alone - same thing?)
HOWEVER - BIG PROBLEM - Unless I'm doing something wrong I hope, the SDI out always maintains my tools like zebra and waveform. That's not good at all. The tools are for me as an operator. The SDI out is intended for clients . Its great that I can send a LUT out to the client monitor- That's huge , but covered in Zebras????
I never used the zebras before so I never noticed this.
Is there a way to change this?
