I must admit I've been scratching my head over which dock to get here in the UK. Having a look on the Maplin's website I've found this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/icy-dock-2.5-3.5-inch-sata-usb-dock-813389
which hits a lot of buttons for me: 1. USB 3.0 (not all clients my have macs/thunderbolt). 2. 2.5inch can be BUS powered (for downloading in the field) and 3.0 esata (I don't have have thunderbolt on my ancient MacBook, but I do have an esata express card!)
I also like like the fact it is Maplins and not some obscure online retailer - which gives a certain reassurance of customer service.
any thoughts/experience of this product?
