Odyssey 7q Question

Hi just recently got my hands on a odyssey 7q+ recorder from a friend. The unit has not had a firmware update since 2015!

So my question is can I skip ahead to the latest firmware or do I have to install all the firmware in order one by one?

Also is it possible to revert back to earlier version incase I mess up and need to reinstall

You can load he latest firmware and you can revert back, but only if you have a copy of that file.

Important: Follow the instructions on the CD website & included with the irmware download. Make sure to have PLENTY of power for the Odyssey -- best to power it off AC. An update like this can take the better part of an hour and if it is interrupted it could brick the unit, requiring it be shipped to CD in Colorado. The god news is that there will be a progress bar on the screen showing how it's going.
