Does anyone know the name of the lemo connector that is used for the power on the 7Q? Never knew there was such a range of lemo connections... Need to whip up a power cable for an upcoming job.

If anyone knows, thank you in advance!

It is a Neutrix Nano, and they are extremely hard to solder, and hard to find.

I suggest buying the flying lead (I call them a pigtail) from a CD dealer if you want to make your own cable, the Nano is already soldered on and the other end is ready for whatever connector you want to solder on.

We do suggest the use of our pre-wired flying lead cable since the Neutrix is so difficult to deal with. We built a special jig, use a microscope and fill the thing with glue afterward to make sure it is solid. I think it retails for only $40, so worth it to buy the sucker already dealt with. Most of our 3rd party manufacturers get them this way from us. The cable is three feet long and clearly marked for the positive & negative leads for you to solder on your own connector.

I spend all day, every day making cables and circuit boards under a microscope. The components are so small, they look like dust to the naked eye. After all that... I still buy the flying lead cables pre-made from CD because I they are too much work for the small-ish volumes. For a one-off spare cable thing....you would lose your mind trying to save a few $ on labor.

Thanks for this, guys! I decided against soldering it myself and have had a company in the uk to make it instead. Cost £22 instead of £84 for the overpriced CD version. Works perfectly and looks solid.
