Thought we'd make a thread for those who did not pre order or are too impatient to wait on places like bh to get them in stock :). So if you see any available post here! :)
 
Might be hard to find in Stock many places given the amount of pre orders. I ordered mine from Texas Media Systems a while back and got mine in on the first batch. They are super great to deal with and I think they have a relatively small pre-order list if you're trying to get it without waiting too long fwiw
 
i was at ccw today in nyc and there were several 7qs on the floor.

So I got super lucky. I randomly called ZGC video in Jersey because Nyvz mentioned that's where he got his 7Q. Somebody was lagging on their paying for their pre-order, so they check with the guy and he didn't want it, so they sold it to me. It should be here in LA on Monday. Stoked.

Now, I need to figure out battery and how to view RAW footage since Resolve does not work on my old-ass computer.
 
I'm looking to rent one for a week. I'm in NYC, anyone know any rental houses renting right now? Other option would be to purchase then sell...
 
I'm in the NYC area with a 7Q, and would consider renting for a week if I could make it work in our schedule. When are you looking to rent?

I'm in NYC and have one to rent out!
 
The guys at Interbee told me about that there were about 1000 units in back order , so for us folks in Japan we might have to wait until a second batch in january.
(Of course i'm not talking about pre-orders)

BTW, got a chance to play with the 7Q and was mightly impressed! They were running on a NP-970 Battery plate, sweet ;)

Hey Gene, I read at another post that you can't afford a new computer at the moment since buying a lot of camera gear. Have you considered buying a used computer so that you can use Resolve? I've seen a couple I think would work with Resolve for about 600 dollars here in Sweden, and the prices are higher here. Just a little tip so that you can use your Odyssey. :)
