Odyssey 7Q and zoom function malfunction

When I zoom to a 1:1, 1/4 of the screen garbles badly. At 2:1, over 1/2 of the screen malfunctions. It's hard to describe. The garbled mess looks something like a bad video connection, or like when you turned your TV to a channel that had no feed. Something like what the old Twilight Zone did to your TV in the opening portion of the show. Hope this makes sense. Anyway, anyone else experienced anything like this? Any help would be appreciated.

A number of us have been getting this. Mitch and Convergent is aware of this and says it will be addressed in the next firmware update.

Right now, all I can do is just turn off the 7Q and sometimes I have to disconnect the battery and then it will go away for a while.
 
We are aware and it will be corrected soon. Just to note, please do not use the Zoom function while recording ProRes. There is the possibility that it can corrupt the recording. Again, to be corrected soon.
