Odd question re: lowlight DVX vs. Canon HFS series cams

I shoot recitals using DVX cams.

How does the lowlight capability of the Canon HFS10/100/20/200 compare?
Close? At all?

The glass on the DVX is twice the size, and the HD cameras are trying to feed 4x the photosites on the sensors through that smaller glass.

That's a losing battle.

HV20 is about 80 ISO. The DVX, in 60i mode, is 1280 ISO. It's no comparison, the DVX slays in low light.
