Just a quick update for posterity's sake if nothing else.
I wasn't particularly impressed by the guys at ProKit, so decided against dropping £1000 on the TVLogic as I wasn't confident I'd get the support I'd require if it went wrong.
We tried the Lilliput 5D II monitor out of interest - we were shooting with the BBC Holby City team and they were using one as a grip monitor for tracking etc and, although they didn't need absolute colour honesty, the quality looked pretty promising. However, it turned out it's not possible to alter the hue controls while in blue only - and try as hard as we could, we just couldn't get a faithful setup we could trust in the time we had available. Shame, as it's an otherwise promising monitor, especially at such a low price point.
So we bought a Zacuto EVF Pro from CVP and are getting some good results and beginning to really trust it. The quick punch-in for focus is proving invaluable. We're hanging it with a RAM ball mount and arms and it's much more secure than the Israeli arm that ended up flopping all over the place and causing a nuisance.
Also just took delivery of a Manfrotto 521 lens remote today and first impressions are very favourable - on a shoot with it tomorrow, so will update when I can.
