Hey FS-7 owner/ops,
I'm looking for someone with a particular interest/focus on obs doc, to fill in for a 1-day shoot this coming Sat. August 20th. I'm DOPing the feature-length doc on small-scale independent land workers around the UK, but have been 'double-booked' with another shoot for the same film up in Wales. It's harvest time and it's all happening at once!
The film as a whole is relatively low-budget, with an offer of £250 plus expense for the day [Edit: forgot to mention that although I've been shooting 'bulk buy' for 250ppd, the producer has expressed that there could be some flexibility for this one-off day, so don't be afraid to ask). Won't appeal to everyone, but I can assure you that it will be a fairly easygoing schedule with an emphasis on creative, atmospheric shots rather than 'machine-gun' coverage, all in the idyllic environment of harvest time on an organic oat farm. One of the film's co-directors would be with you on location for the day, but no sound-person, so a set of radio-mics and an onboard shotgun (plus cans and an eye of the levels!) would be required.

[Edit] P.S. Farm is near to Totnes, with the director travelling down from Bristol. As mentioned reasonable travel & food expenses will be covered.
