I just returned from a 3 week documentary shoot with the HVX. I would shoot on P2 cards then dump them via a powerbook to two seperate drives. Here are the problems I experienced.
1.) When I use the force delete program to erase the files off the p2 the card dosent show up the next time on the power book until I restart the machine. Therefore I am not really sure how to delete files when you are doing a multi card dump during an continious interview.
2.) When I just force delete the files for about 3 days the cards started slowing WAY down during transfers. A quick fotmat solved the problem.
3.) Formating the cards seems to solve the problem. Can I just reformat the cards everytime or is there a limit to how many times you can format?
