This sale is for an outstanding Oade-Modded Marantz PMD660 2-channel audio field recorder. I am selling for $450 shipped, insured, tracked, and I'll cover the paypal fees. So, it's $450 net to buyer.
This is an excellent all-in-one unit that takes two XLR inputs and records 16-bit wav files to compact flash cards (not included). The unit is super-small, probably the smallest 2-channel field recorder on the market that takes balanced XLR inputs and can put out phantom power to two mics. It also runs for hours on rechargeable or one-time-use AA batteries (not included). I am also including a small case that fits the unit perfectly.
Finally, this unit has been "modded" by Doug Oade of the Oade Brothers to retrofit new preamps into the unit for a super-clean sound even at higher gain levels. This unit is awesome for recording interviews, doing double-system sound for video, or making stereo pair recordings of live music (which is what I used it for). Brand new Oade-modded units run $609, so this is a hell of a deal.
Here's a link to the new Oade-modded PMD660 just for reference (mine has the "SongCatcher Mod"):

And here's a few photos of the specific unit I am selling:
