O7Q+ power requirements

Throwing this out here in case Mitch catches it or someone else can chime in.

I'm considering trying to run the O7Q+ off a letus juice box on the Helix Jr. This battery is a 2600mAh at 14.8v. How can i calculate the power draw of the O7Q recording UHD ProRes from the A7s over HDMI in order to work out whether there's enough juice to power both the letus and the O7Q?

There is the full size Letus which uses a 5200mAh, that would last longer but i'm wondering what the run times might be. I have a plate on the back of the monitor for sony batteries so i could use that, it's about weight reduction.

The Odyssey7Q+ will tell you. In the Upper Tool Bar there is a display near the left end showing the wattage draw at that moment. UHD ProRes is a big draw, I think something like 16w, but you should run your recorder and see what it says. Watts = Volts X Amps. Let's say that it drew 14.8w for easy math. At 14.8v, that would mean you would pull 1000mAh, aka 1 amp per hour. On paper it would look like you'd get 2.6 hours, but I would guess that it would be barely two to give myself padding. Check your wattage draw and do the simple math to find your result.
