Shame there isn't a CD forum here like over on DVInfo - seems to be far more active users here though. So for a lack of a better place I thought I'd post here.
I'm just wondering what the known issues are with the playback functionality of the O7Q. It seems pretty buggy at the moment.
I was just trying to review some footage on one of my SSD's - I wasn't sure what mode the footage on there was shot in. At the moment, it doesn't seem to allow playback of footage shot in one mode in another current mode. BUT I couldn't see a way of determining what mode a certain shot was recorded in. Am I missing something?
It would seem obvious to have some extra metadata recorded with each clip that details O7Q modes (and maybe anything else useful). Does this already happen? I think there should be some indication on the playback play list as to what each clip is (unless I'm missing it again).
Once I guessed correctly what these clips were recorded in, I then tried playing them from the play list. Individual clips seemed to play OK but if I select ALL or a selection of clips, the playback starts ok for a few seconds and then the image jumps and loops every few seconds, even though the TC indicates it's playing OK. This isn't the clip looping but playback looping within a longer clip (i.e. a O7Q bug). The clips in question are in ProRes HD format.
Is this also a known issue?
