UPDATE: I just got word that Pookie is alive and doing well. Turns out, for the past week or so he has been making his way to Iraq, trying to do a DVXuser investigative report entitled, "When Good Links Go Bad" . When his "Pookie" passport was rejected at the border he called his parents and had the US Forces bring him back home.
