NYC discussion of all these new cameras

I may be able to arrange my small studio at 42nd and 8th, if anyone interested to bring their gadgets and test together.
We have done NYC DVX meeting in past at same place.
 
Thanks for offering Kwan, please do check that availability. Do you have sufficient seating?

Perhaps we should/could do both your studio and a cafe, if any peoples do want to get involved in any sort of studio testing of equipment, would be good to have that before or after, so no one is left out of the chit-chat

as for name tags.... there's always for and against, but i'll bring them just in case, if i can remember where my festival stash is

Just a friendly reminder that we've got a location in NYC too :smile: If you'll be downtown at any point (we're in the west village), feel free to stop by, hang out in our showroom, ask questions, get your hands on some cameras, or just say hi!

Can i ask if we did come by would those chairs you have be available? And perhaps if people let you know in advance, have a camera/equipment or two for us to look at (that isn't already on your showroom)

I think it would depend on what date you guys settled on because the training room & chairs are often in use for various classes.

But one thing I will throw out there is that if any of you are free on the night of Tuesday the 29th, we'll be hosting a special Post-NAB wrap-up event in NYC. If you've ever been to one of our Expos, it'll be structured a bit like that, where the manufacturers and/or our specialists will give a short presentation and then attendees will be free to stop by each table to get their hands on the gear & ask questions one-on-one. Confirmed right now are Sony, Canon, and Panasonic who will be showing off their newest stuff from NAB 2014. (Plus it's free! :thumbsup:)

Hello Darren, have you thought about filming your gathering, or at least a few parts of it? I bet there isnt any DVXuser who wouldnt like to be there...but of course that is impossible for most of us...:(
Come on...so many filmakers...and so many new cameras...at the same place...:)
