NY Long Island Rail Road Station Grabs

Today on my way home after work, I grabbed my DVX and shot some 30p footages to compare with the 60i shots from NYC Marathon Day.
They came out much clearer. What do you guys think?



Edited: I added one more grab. I only tweaked around with the settings in bleach bypass and it came out like a pencil drawing. I thought it was sorta cool and wanted to share. Now I'm even thinking about using the image for my homepage frontpage picture. Well.. we'll see.

i LOVE the first three. the last one though, it seems that many of us have a focusing problem (me as well) doesnt look in focus to me. i need to get barry's book and work on that

Really great grabs! You should definitely move on to shorts.

I think you will find shooting people presents a whole new set of challenges. :)

These are some great grabs I especially like the 1,2, and 5th grabs.

What camera settings and colour correction software did you use? I'd love to mimic this look for a short I'm doing in 2 weeks.
 
Camera Setting: Everything at 0 except detail level at +2 and of course Progressive mode.

Each picture was applied with one default MB effects. I used Neo, Miami, Bleach Bypass, and Curahee.
