I did a search for a similar problem, but no dice.
I helped a guy do a wedding recently, and out of the blue, I'm getting a strange stream of numbers across the LCD display (and in the view finder) of my DVX100. I've used my DVX plenty, and I've never encountered them before. They don't show up on the tape, so I'm not horribly concerned with it, but it does kind of block the view a little when I'm recording. It doesn't look like a time code. Just a line of numbers across the screen (about a 3rd of the way down from the top of the display), and a few of the numbers change/flicker really fast.
I was just wonder what it might be (I'm sure I should know, as long as I've had my DVX).
Also, is it necessary to have it on the display?
And if not, how do I remove it?
Thanks in advance.
