NuAngle NC-1100 crane, with a reach of up to 14 feet for sale. Mounts on fluid head (or to a bowl if you make an adapter, as I was going to do). I just got this from eBay and then right afterwards got a great deal on a Trovato jib, so I'm selling this. $250, with UPS ground shipping in the 48 states included. Includes a set-up DVD

Here are pictures of a slightly newer version of the crane for sale, from the manufacturer's website:

I don't have a way to get pix here of the specific crane I've got, so I'll explain the differences I know of between mine and the NX2:
  • Instead of a guy wire, this uses a fabric (nylon?) strap and tensioning buckle. As a result, the "thing" used to create the bend in the guy wire (or in this case, the strap) is a bit different than what you see in the pictures.
  • The bottom parallel pipe is grey pipe, with cutouts so you can feed cables through it.
  • The counterweight mounting is a bit different than what you see in the photos.
Email is dabarak@yahoo.com. I can take PayPal, money order, or personal check with a waiting period. Email if you have questions, etc.

Note - the tripod and weights are not included.

Thanks!

It's rated for 23 pounds at 13 feet. I haven't measured the crane, so that makes me think it might be 13 feet instead of 14 feet -- I've seen both mentioned. Also, it's adjustable from a minimum of 7 feet.

Also, Bogen has a 100mm half ball available for less than $50 that you could attach to the crane so you could avoid having to mount it on a fluid head. That's the route I was going to take.

As far as the FigRig, I have one already, but I appreciate the offer.

Hiya,

Well, the tilt is adustable, but not during the shot. In other words, you can adjust the length of the bottom rod to tilt the camera platform up or down before your shot. Hopefully my description makes sense.

If you mean an AMEX credit card, I don't have a way to take that directly, but you might be able to use it through PayPal.
