Im scared bcause i bought a NTSCJ HVX200 for my bro, i didnt specify the region, so theres not many chances on getting an american one, Anyone who knows about this, In Chile we use the NTSC, i think the NTSCJ is different because of the Burst Frequency, if anyone can help me, thanks.

Just a guess, but I assume J stands for Japan. There is only one flavor of NTSC and all countries that use it are compatable.

The black level is different for NTSC-J, but that's for analog, not digital. For NTSC black is at 7.5, while for NTSC-J it is at 0. Regardless, the HVX lets you specific the setup level at either 0 or 7.5, so with the possible exception of having to deal with Japanese menus, you should be good to go.
