NTG-3 or Oktava MK 012?

The Oktava. Remember that a shotgun's pickup patters is not well suited to indoors. The exception is an interior setting that is (mostly) acoustically dead. A hypercardioid helps to reject the reflections that shotguns tend not to be able to avoid.

The NTG-3 is one of few shotguns that can perform indoors, but a hypercardioid is probably a better bet.

More important than the choice of mic is the skill with which the mic is used.

The "bias" of those who respond to these questions on this forum - myself included - will always be to recommend a cardioid or hyper-cardioid for indoor usage as the people asking the question will almost always not have the technique/patience/budget to use a shotgun properly in an indoor setting.

what about ntg-2 [super-cardioid] for indoors, and ntg-3 for outdoors?

The NTG-2 is still a shotgun. "Supercardioid" only refers to the pattern of the capsule at the base of the mic. Add the interference tube, which is what makes a shotgun a shotgun, and you have a different response pattern.
