'Nothing Gold' music video...

I really like the whole look you gave to the project. One of My favorite scenes is at the end, the sunset looked so good. The song was also very enjoyable. I would like to see and hear more from this band.

I, agree, looks great. a few questions, was it done to a click track? How much footage did you shoot, and how long did it take to edit? Lastly, what was the overall budjet?

for more info on the band check out myspace.com/quartzinc

Hopefully CJ can chime in with some of the more technical aspects involved in this project.

but we shot for 3 days on an abandoned set from the Jessica Lynch movie, for under 20k, and unfortunetly/annoyingly use a car stereo for playback.

Very nice. Looks gritty and glossy to me at the same time, if that makes any sense. In any case, a terrific job, and a pretty good band, to boot.

Hey guys,

I've been answering questions at DVInfo in the Show Your Work section. For ease of use, I'd like to keep it to one forum. Feel free to shoot me an email or ask me over there.

Thanks.

LOVED the Video. HATED the song, but thats not what this is about, right?

Cinematography was awesome. Loved the color, the movements and the setups especially the part while hes on the bike and the camera moves with him.

Jesus, the HVX looks so damn good. After that vid I'd easliy say that it's the most filmic camera I've seen in it's price range. Kudos to ya'
