Not So Wise Owl

[Nirimba]

Probably the first thing I shot with the DVX more than a year ago. This Owl was in a tree at the back of my home. Grabed the DVX - auto everything - hand held with my head back so far my neck hurt, hey, they are just excuses for shakey & out of focus shots, but it's not every day I see an Owl near the house.
Here it is,

That was AWESOME, Nirimba! It reminds me of one I saw in Yellowstone a few years back...it was perched on a huge limb about 10 feet off the ground and it let me walk right up under it and just stare in awe...mostly ignoring me but occasionally looking me right in the eye with an air of superiority!

Glad to see youre still coming by, just the other day I was on here and was wondering if you still visited.
