Not Really a film but a music video!

I dont know how I got this job. Mike Mitchell from The Kingsmen ("Louie Louie" song from the Northwest's premiere garage band) and his younger brother Dennis Mitchell, started a new band and I got to shoot their first music video. The music doesnt sound like The Kingsmen days but I just felt blessed to do a music video for some legendary people.

Some mild production notes:

Shot HDV 60i with a Sony Z1u, added a pulldown with nattress in Final cut and colored with nattress filters. I used streamedit to out put a 23.976 QT file. Lighting was done with a few 1ks but I mostly used available light. No crew but my Wife who qued the music. I had the whole projected stortyboarded out, then on the day of the shoot, Dennis wanted to change some stuff ( You know how that is)

This was my first music video project.

Maybe once I get my harddrive working again, I will post an HD version.

We are currently in the process of planning another music video that will have a much larger budget. No more HDV!

Thanks for checking it out,

Thanks for the feed back, It was hard for me to direct, I felt kinda bossy and I dont think any of our actors had any acting expeirence. They did a pretty good job though. Also that was a real smack in the face that the woman gave to the man in the hotel room, you could hear it in the origional audio. OUCH.

Dont cheat on your wife...

Well done but I'm not fond of the shadow created by the lead singer that is blocking the guy (bass player I think) behind him especially when he starts singing backup....
