Chers everyone,

i don't really know where to start - i just had the need of telling and sharing my actual situation with you.

ok so let's go:

In 2008/09 i was doing some no budget films in order to get accepted at the german film schools. So finaly i got accepted and moved away from home. When i did that i was done studying (what it's called in germany) Media Design for Motion Picture.

Then since 2009 i am studying Film - this it's the more creative and directors thing. I don't really know how to translate it but it is similar to american film schools.

Anyway. Next to all the excitement i had i concentrated on doing movies as much and as good as i could. There were a couple of pretty famous german filmfestivals.
So i started to anticipate. I finally won the first festival and a second one called 48h rallye.

I was pretty happy :)

So then i told myself to do further.

I started to write a novel with an acquaintance of mine. It is called NOT JUST SINCE ... COBAIN. The story is all about this guy having an interview with a newsreporter. While he does that all the flashbacks of his life appear. If you ask me the whole story is a mixture of TRAINSPOTTING AND CALIFORNICATION.

I did the first try on translating it into a script. I had it read by my favorite prof and a pretty good lecturer.
They both liked it and strongly recommended submitting it to a german filmfoundation in order to raise money and directly produceing it (or starting to produce)

Ok, now two months have passed and i have the first calculation done. Nothing is cut and dried yet but the foundation is willing to invest about 15 to 20 k euros.

I started preproduction on the whole production doing location scouting, selling and buying whole new equipment, getting a partner and casting actors.

Last thing might be the most interesting part for now.

So there are these two actresses who play in germanys most famous tv-soaps. I had a meeting with the agencys and one of them already seems to be interested in playing the starring role.

So now i got a quite famous face in my movie and the whole project seems to build up slowly.

Now just right before i am writing this i was talking to my lead part actor of the movie and he will play in it too.

In any case i would just like to know if you guys out there are willing to know more about the project.

For me the whole project is extremely exciting and now i have to go to work at a bar. I work as a bartender doing cocktails and stuff. How else would somebody raise money :)???

Hi everyone,

first of all i'd like to thank you for haveing interest about my project.

I'd like to share my todays happenings with you.

Today i drove to Duesseldorf ( a big german metropole city ) where i had a meeting with an famous actress. Her name is Romina Becks ( for those of you who like to google her :) )
This wasn't my first meeting with famous people but this time it was about doing bussiness and i found it quite impressive how professional she behaved.

I felt a but nervous, cause i wasn't actually prepared. In fact i didn't do my homework at all because i had a couple of drinks to much the night before.

Anyway, we (my partner and i) went to that cafe called bazzar. Didn't like that place at all. It seemed that this place was all about rich people showing of ther gucci bagges and crap. I tried to enjoy my 6 euro (10 dollar) coffee while we were chatting.
I showed her the script and explained to her all she needed to know about the story and what her character would be like.

She seemd to be very interested and even suggested asking collegues of her to anticipate to the project.

The whole meeting lasted for about an hour and a half and ended up her saying that she is willing to join the project and the best part: for free.

fudge yeah! - i love to save money :)

so now i sent her the whole (almost) final version of the script and she is going to ask her actorefriends if their maybe want to join.

On Monday and Wednesday i have to write important test for my studies. So this week there wont be any achievements :( But after that there is more updates to come :)

I hope some of you find it interesting reading my "blog" or whatever it is :)

hey, how is it everyone,

i gotta apologize for not updating anything recently.

Last weeks thursday, i was building up the set with my mates for a movie i'm shooting right now at the moviestudio of our university. that was when i almost forgot that i had a meeting with certain, quite important person.
Clauda K. from Columbia Pictures listen to what i was saying about the movieproject and we chatted about stuff.
Clauda is a (dunno the english word) producer kind of financial office person that decides what is going to paid with budget and stuff.
She liked the story and she wanted me to send her the script including calculations for the project.
I think she is going to advice me how to really do a perfect calculation and help me achieving money for the job.
After i sent her the script she ended up telling me that she kind of wanted to join the project from a third person view: controlling, helping and adviceing me in producing aspects.

So for now that should be it.
By the way, i am building a set for a movie am doing right now; is there anyone interested in seing pictures of the procedure? Dunno if that answer would sound foolish.
