Hey Folks,
I did test last night with my shotgun plugged into the front xlr and a condenser mic plugged into ch 2 at the rear of the HPX300. The mic is tubed and has it's own interface so it does not need 48v.
I see the Ch 2 volume on the LCD and it does record. Problem is that I only hear the shotgun through the headphone jack. The cam is set to front volume to ch 1. Auto volume control is on and Ch1/2 and Ch2/3 switches are on. Ch 2 is set to rear channel with the physical switch on the side of the cam.
Again, Ch 2 does record and shows up on the meter but I do NOT hear it in the phones while in pause. Since I was in front of the camera, I do not know if Ch 2 is alive in the phones during record.
Any ideas?,
Robert
