Hi Everyone,
I just upgraded from vista to windows 7. I have multiple reasons for this, but the main one is getting rid of the vista memory hog. When i installed Avid it says it cant find an audio device. It then says it cant fins any supported audio devices and closes. i tried using both the on board "high def audio device" as well as the audio in my video cards. Same error. Is there a way to make avid like my audio? I have the latest drivers. Does anyone know of any cheap audio cards that are win 7/avid compatible? It worked fine on vista. My specs are as follows:
Win 7 Professional
Asus P6X58D Premium Mobo
1000 Watt PSU
Dual GTX 470 Video cards (I know, not avid qualified, but they work so great)
Onboard hd audio
I7-950 CPU
6 disk raid for video
2 disk raid for OS
Thanks,
Cody
