Norwegian high school-love-story-dance-comedy!

So, about a year ago I wrote down this stupid but fun idea for a high school comedy, and now suddenly I'm in the middle of making it!

I'm the writer/director/photographer and my good friend Snorre Danielsen is my producer. We're both students and has set our summer and savings aside to make this movie.

We are really trying to push our own limits on this project and simply trying to have some fun doing what we love.

We would really appreciate any comments or critique, we are learning after all.

It's shot on the HPX171e with Redrock m2 Encore. Just ask for technical stuff.
 
Hey great work. The trailer looks really good. I like the pictures and the look a lot. The camerawork is also great. Good luck with the movie. It would be nice to see some behind the scenes stuff.
 
Looks great! I was impressed. It looks like something I would actually watch....if I understood Norwegian. :D haha

But i'd love to see the full version when its done.
 
Really cool! I don't think too many independent film makers even consider musicals as a subject. I like your compositions and camera movement too.

One critique. I thnk that dance sequence at night needs some better lighting. It looks like that's a pretty important number. It should sparkle!!!

Buy yeah, that trailer makes me what to see the finished product.

The project is heading straight to the internet, so you'll see it as soon as it's done (could be a while though).

About the dance sequence you mention Angeslhare1, it's actually supposed to be the tragic part of the movie, when everything seems lost. The guy she's dancing with is a sub-plot bad guy who's trying to seduce her and steal her from Jonas. So I hope I've chosen the right lighting, as it is hard to change in post hehe.
